Job Description

Take your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to a supportive educational environment serving students onsite in the Kyle, TX area. This contract opportunity offers a flexible schedule of 20 to 40 hours per week, allowing you to balance your professional goals with personal commitments. As an integral part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide assessment, evaluations, and direct therapy to a diverse student caseload, making a real difference in their academic and personal development.
Key Qualifications:
Hold a current Texas SLP license with full credentials to practice in school settings Experience performing speech, language, and communication assessments in educational environments Strong ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results Knowledge of best practices for therapy in school-aged populations Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and caregivers Adaptability and organizational skills to handle varied caseloads and changing priorities
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students as referred Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy interventions and IEP goals Deliver engaging, direct therapy services in group and one-on-one settings Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to positive student outcomes
