Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an engaging contract opportunity for a Speech Language Pathologist, where you'll make a difference in the lives of students from Pre-K through high school. This onsite role is based on a traditional school calendar, running from August 6th through May 28th, and is designed for those passionate about supporting student communication and educational development. What you'll bring: Active Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP - CCC required) Experience working in school settings, supporting students with diverse abilities Strong collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams Adaptability in working across multiple grade levels (PK-12), with assignments based on your preferences and strengths Excellent organizational and documentation abilities Role responsibilities: Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to an assigned caseload of approximately 60 students Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and maintain accurate records in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines Provide services across 1-2 assigned school campuses within the district, ranging from PK campuses to high school and specialized programs Consult with educators, staff, and families to monitor student progress and adjust intervention plans as needed Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise to drive student success and support district goals Enjoy a flexible and supportive contract assignment with a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours.
