Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Los Fresnos, TX

Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference by providing speech-language therapy to students in an engaging school setting. This contract opportunity seeks a skilled professional to support a campus with a caseload of approximately 50 students. With a commitment of 18-24 hours per week, you'll help foster communication skills and growth in a dynamic educational environment. This position is for onsite, in-person service delivery only.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Must hold or be eligible for state licensure in Texas Prior experience working with school-aged children preferred Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other therapists
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services to a caseload of about 50 students Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student IEPs Document progress and manage timely, accurate records Communicate student progress and recommendations to teachers, administrators, and families Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review and update student plans Deliver all services in person on assigned campus This position offers the chance to collaborate with supportive staff in a community-centered educational environment and make a tangible impact on student development.
