Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary-aged students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist working near Manor, TX. This position offers a dynamic balance of hands-on therapy and evaluative responsibilities in a collaborative school environment. You'll primarily serve an elementary community, working weekdays from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, managing a caseload of approximately 50 students. Enjoy the benefit of a hybrid schedule—work from home two days a week when all in-person obligations are met and your therapy minutes and evaluations are current.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

Valid SLP licensure and credentials (CCC or CFY accepted) Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Ability to provide both therapy and comprehensive evaluations Strong organizational and communication skills Familiarity with IEP process and goal writing Comfortable updating progress and collaborating with IEP facilitators

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver evidence-based speech-language therapy to students on your caseload Attend IEP meetings, collaborating with facilitators who handle scheduling and logistics Regularly update progress and author new IEP goals for assigned students Complete speech-language and communication evaluations as needed Maintain accurate therapy records and meet compliance guidelines Communicate with educators, families, and support staff to ensure student success
