Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a contract role this fall as a Speech Language Pathologist, providing vital support to elementary students. This opportunity is perfect for professionals with SLP-CCC or SLP-CF credentials who enjoy making a difference in young learners' lives. Work full-time, five days per week, from November 9th through December 18th, in a collaborative educational setting.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Speech Language Pathology license (SLP-CCC or SLP-CF considered) Prior experience working with school-aged children, preferably at the elementary level Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and families Ability to conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and document progress Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
What You'll Do:
Deliver direct therapy services to an assigned elementary caseload, supporting students' communication, speech, and language development Complete speech and language evaluations in accordance with school policies and state guidelines Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists Maintain thorough, timely documentation of evaluations, treatment, and progress notes Provide guidance and resources to staff and families to support ongoing student success Enjoy the chance to work with a supportive team, expand your professional skills, and play a key role in students' developmental progress during the school year.
