Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an engaging opportunity supporting students in a highly collaborative educational setting. This full-time, onsite position centers on providing speech-language pathology services to K-12 students for the full school year. You'll partner with educators and families, helping students reach their communication and academic goals in a positive school environment.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active or eligible for SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY Previous experience working in a school setting preferred Knowledge of IEP implementation and documentation Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to adapt services for diverse student needs across K-12 grades
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy for students on your caseload Complete assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational staff Maintain up-to-date records, documentation, and compliance with special education requirements Offer support and education to families regarding speech-language development Engage in school-wide initiatives as part of a multidisciplinary team
