Key Qualifications:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid SLP license for the state of Virginia (or ability to obtain) CCC-SLP or CFY status accepted Previous experience with school-aged children preferred but not required Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students in accordance with their IEPs Administer evaluations and assessments, interpreting results to develop effective treatment plans Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate with parents and staff Participate in IEP meetings and work closely with teachers, special educators, and support staff Offer guidance to teachers and families about speech and language development and strategies for classroom success Engage in opportunities for professional growth and learning throughout the school year
