Job Description

Category Therapy - Skilled - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting a diverse student population ranging from elementary to high school levels, with a primary focus on elementary-aged learners. This position, beginning September 28 if possible, offers meaningful engagement within a collaborative school-based environment. With 26.75 service delivery hours per week—exclusive of prep or paperwork time—you'll have the chance to make a profound impact while working alongside passionate professionals.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Current licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY) Experience in school settings preferred; healthcare and pediatric backgrounds welcomed Strong knowledge of therapy techniques for children and adolescents with varying needs Comfortable managing a school-based caseload and adjusting strategies per student Excellent communication and documentation abilities Commitment to fostering student growth across elementary, middle, and high school levels Able to start on or around September 28 Open to in-person service delivery only; teletherapy not offered at this time
Key Responsibilities:
Provide skilled speech and language therapy to students, collaborating with staff to ensure individualized support Develop and implement IEPs, monitor student progress, and adapt interventions as needed Communicate regularly with families, teachers, and administrators regarding student growth Maintain records, manage caseload, and complete paperwork associated with the role Support a positive and inclusive school culture through proactive engagement This contract position presents a chance to grow your skills while working within a supportive education community.
