Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLP or SLPA), supporting students in the Moneta and Roanoke, VA areas for the full 2026-2027 school year. Collaborate onsite with a dynamic, supportive educational team as you make a lasting difference in students' lives from PreK through 12th grade. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations and assessments for students across all grade levels Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals Deliver direct and indirect therapy services tailored to each student's unique needs Participate in multidisciplinary collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families Maintain comprehensive documentation in accordance with state and district requirements Engage in IEP and student support meetings to advocate for student needs Provide mentorship and support for Clinical Fellows when applicable
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Hold, or be eligible for, a Virginia SLP license ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CF) are welcome to apply Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities Ability to work effectively on a collaborative team
