Job Description

This full-time contract role offers 37.5 hours per week serving a dynamic K-12 caseload, supporting schools in a vibrant community near Spotsylvania, Virginia. If you are a dedicated SLP whether holding your CCC or completing your Clinical Fellowship your skills will be highly valued during this critical period. You will be covering two maternity leaves, providing essential continuity for students and collaborating closely with supportive staff.
Key qualifications and experience:
Active SLP licensure for practice in a school setting CCC preferred, but Clinical Fellows are also encouraged to apply Proficiency working with K-12 populations; let us know if you have specific caseload preferences Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Commitment to individualized, student-centered care Responsibilities you can expect: Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support student success Complete necessary assessments, develop IEP goals, and maintain accurate records Provide both short-term intensive support and ongoing intervention as needed Serve as a compassionate advocate for students communication needs The schedule aligns with the coverage of two maternity leaves: one SLP will be on leave from late December/early January through early March, while the second is out from mid-November until spring break at the end of March.
