Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in young learners' lives by providing essential speech and language services at an elementary level for the upcoming academic year. This full-time, contract opportunity offers professional growth in a supportive school setting, where your expertise as a Speech Language Pathologist will help students reach their communication goals. Your assignment will run from August 26, 2026, through June 7, 2027, with a guaranteed 40-hour work week and a manageable, elementary-only caseload. You'll deliver both direct and indirect services—and can focus solely on speech-related responsibilities, with no bus duty, parent pickup, or other school obligations outside your contracted hours. If relocating, travel therapists may be eligible for stipends.
Ideal candidates will bring:
Certification as an SLP (CCC or CFY considered) Experience in educational or school-based settings preferred Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Strong organizational skills and adaptability Current state licensure or eligibility In this role, you'll: Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with school guidelines Track student progress and maintain detailed documentation Consult with staff and families to support student success Participate in IEP meetings and team collaboration during contracted hours Those working full-time are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, dental, and 401k plan options.
