Qualifications:

Hold a valid Washington State SLP License Possess the ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certificate Certified SLP-CCC required Prior experience in schools (elementary or high school preferred) Successfully fingerprinted through OSPI Strong verbal and written communication abilities Enthusiastic, team-oriented professional committed to student growth

Responsibilities:

Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and therapy for students with speech and language disorders Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs), collaborating closely with general and special education teachers Keep detailed records of student progress and maintain required documentation Participate in IEP meetings and support families through the process Deliver engaging, evidence-based interventions tailored to student needs Serve as a knowledgeable resource for staff and parents on communication concerns Maintain compliance with state and federal requirements Why consider this role?
