Job Description
Jackson Therapy Partners seeks a Travel Speech Language Pathologist to provide evaluation and treatment across diverse clinical settings nationwide. In this contract role, you'll assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders; develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans; and document care using EMR. You'll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, educate patients and families, and adapt quickly to new environments. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing evaluations across varied patient populations. Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders. Document assessments, goals, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately in EMR systems. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, rehab teams, and caregivers to coordinate patient-centered care plans. Educate patients and families on communication strategies, home exercises, and condition management. Adapt quickly to new facilities, policies, and workflows in travel and contract assignments. Maintain compliance with state licensure, professional, and facility-specific regulations and standards. Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to care planning and case discussions. Monitor and report patient progress, modifying treatment plans as clinically indicated. Uphold professional, ethical, and cultural sensitivity standards in all patient interactions.
