9682004-53045 Job Description Experience an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a young student's educational journey in a supportive and collaborative environment. This highly flexible, part-time contract position invites a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to dedicate 45 minutes per weekscheduled anytime between 9:30 AM and 2:45 PMto working with a Kindergarten student who is non-verbal, uses an AAC device, and is developmentally delayed. Youll focus primarily on developing core vocabulary skills, supporting a student who is on the spectrum and learns in a self-contained classroom. Compassion, creativity, and patience are essential, as the student requires a tailored approach centered around functional communication and safe, supportive interventions due to instances of self-harm.

Desired Qualifications:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state license (or eligibility) as an SLP Experience with AAC devices and augmentative communication strategies Previous work with children with autism, developmental delays, and/or non-verbal communication Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to create engaging, individualized therapy activities Understanding of strategies to manage challenging behaviors in a supportive manner
