Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist, where you will play a vital role in enhancing communication skills and improving quality of life for children with speech and language challenges. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for pediatric patients to identify communication disorders and determine appropriate treatment strategies Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans tailored to each child's unique needs Deliver engaging therapy sessions through evidence-based techniques, including telehealth options when applicable, to improve speech clarity, language comprehension, and social communication skills Collaborate effectively with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care and consistent therapy approaches Monitor progress regularly through patient assessments, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes Maintain accurate documentation of patient sessions, progress notes, and treatment plans within electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems Stay informed about current best practices in pediatrics and speech-language pathology to continually enhance service quality Skills Extensive experience working with pediatric populations and children with speech or language impairments Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques, language therapy strategies, and early intervention methods Proficiency in conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations and interpreting physiological aspects related to communication disorders Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams including educators, occupational therapists, psychologists, and medical professionals Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to pediatric healthcare settings Experience implementing speech-language therapy plans across various settings such as schools or clinics Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech production and swallowing functions Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays is highly desirable Join us in making a lasting impact on children's lives by providing compassionate, expert speech-language pathology services. Pay:
From $48.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 - 40.0 per week
