Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract position providing essential Speech-Language Pathology services for K-12 students for the upcoming school year. This opportunity offers a single school-site assignment, requiring a well-rounded SLP who thrives in a collaborative academic environment and is committed to making a genuine impact on student development.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) status Valid state licensure as an SLP or eligibility for licensure in Wisconsin Solid background in pediatric speech-language therapy within school or healthcare settings Experience serving diverse caseloads in elementary through high school (K-12) populations Proficiency with teletherapy platforms is a plus Familiarity with Wisconsin school protocols will set candidates apart
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language assessments, therapy, progress monitoring, and documentation for a caseload of approximately 40-50 students within one school setting Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families Deliver direct and consultative services using both in-person and teletherapy modalities as appropriate Maintain regular and effective communication with parents, teachers, and school teams Support students' academic and social participation through dynamic intervention strategies
Position Details:
Contract term: September 21st - May 21st (late-start for school year) Consistent weekly hours: 35 hours, Monday through
Friday Schedule:
