Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language therapy in an engaging educational environment for the 2026-2027 academic year. Work full-time as a valued resource supporting students across elementary, middle, and high schools, collaborating with dedicated teams to nurture communication development and academic success.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active SLP-CCC and eligibility for Wisconsin state licensure Previous experience in school-based settings preferred Expertise in providing evaluation, diagnosis, and therapy for diverse age groups and speech-language disorders Ability to effectively manage a caseload of approximately 38-40 students and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Essential Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students in varied school settings, tailoring interventions to individual needs Conduct assessments and develop individualized educational plans (IEPs) Monitor and document student progress, maintaining thorough and accurate records Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other service providers to support student growth Attend staff meetings, IEP meetings, and professional development sessions as required Participate in school-wide initiatives fostering inclusive practices and student well-being Benefit from a structured schedule and the chance to make meaningful impact over the course of a school year—building lasting skills in the communities you serve.
