Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide expert speech and language therapy services to pediatric patients, supporting their communication development and overall well-being. Your expertise will help children overcome speech and language challenges, enabling them to thrive academically, socially, and at home. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care tailored to each child's unique needs. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for pediatric patients across diverse settings, including clinics, home and telehealth platforms if appropriate. Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans that target specific communication goals based on assessment findings. Deliver engaging therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques to improve speech articulation, language comprehension, social communication, and fluency. Collaborate effectively with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive treatment approaches and consistent progress. Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting therapy strategies as needed to optimize outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, session notes, and progress reports within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems. Stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology practices, especially in early intervention therapy modalities. Qualifications Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or equivalent credential. Proven experience working with pediatric populations in clinical, school-based, or early intervention settings. Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques, language development milestones, anatomy and physiology relevant to speech production. Experience conducting comprehensive evaluations for children with speech impairments or language delays. Familiarity with medical terminology and multidisciplinary collaboration in speech-language pathology. Excellent communication skills for parent collaboration and team coordination. Knowledge of working with children with disabilities or developmental delays is highly desirable.
