Job Description

Pediatric Outpatient Clinic Working days are Monday through Thursday, with Fridays off. We are looking for a compassionate, energetic, and dependable Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our pediatric outpatient therapy team. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide individualized speech and language therapy services to children with a variety of communication needs. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one pediatric speech therapy under the supervision of an SLP Implement treatment plans and goals established by the supervising SLP Work with children with articulation, receptive/expressive language, social communication, AAC, and other communication needs Collect and document objective data during treatment sessions Complete daily treatment notes accurately and on time Communicate professionally with parents, caregivers, and team members Collaborate with SLPs, OTs, COTAs, and other members of the therapy team Prepare engaging, age-appropriate therapy activities and materials Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly treatment environment Qualifications Current or eligible SLPA license/registration in Alabama Appropriate education and training required to practice as an SLPA Strong communication and organizational skills Dependable, professional, and team-oriented Comfortable working with children of varying ages and developmental abilities Pediatric experience preferred, but not required Why Join Our Team?
