Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling school-based role as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year! This contract opportunity is full-time and offers the chance to support students' communication and language development in a dynamic educational environment. As an SLPA in this role, you'll collaborate closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to implement therapy plans designed to help students reach their unique potential. Working within school settings, you will play a vital part in making meaningful impacts on students' educational journeys.
Desired Qualifications:
Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in Arizona Demonstrated experience or internship in a school or pediatric setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate effectively to children, educators, and families Ability to work independently while following clinician-designed protocols and plans Attention to detail and a positive, adaptable attitude
Responsibilities Include:
Delivering speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed SLP, following individualized education and intervention plans Collecting data on student progress and maintaining accurate records Supporting classroom staff with strategies and tools to foster student success Assisting with creation of instructional materials and activities to reinforce speech and language skills Participating in team meetings and contributing insights to support student programs This contract role provides the satisfaction of making a daily difference, plus a consistent, full-time schedule within the school calendar.
