Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or equivalent from an accredited program Valid SLPA license/certification in California Experience working in a school-based setting preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Team-oriented approach, enthusiastic about supporting diverse student populations Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in executing therapy plans and achieving IEP goals Provide direct, supervised therapy to students, both one-on-one and in small groups Assist in preparing therapy materials and documentation in accordance with school and district guidelines Record accurate data and maintain detailed progress notes Participate in staff meetings, team discussions, and professional development activities as required Support students' communication development in classroom and pull-out settings This full-time role offers stability throughout the school year and the opportunity to hone your skills in a dynamic, collaborative team.
