Availability :
We are looking for someone available for the following times: Weekends (Saturday & Sunday): Anytime between 8:00 AM
  • 9:00 PM Monday
  • Friday:
    Any day/time between 2:00 PM
  • 9:00 PM This is a flexible weekend/evening position.
Responsibilities Assist licensed speech-language pathologists in implementing individualized treatment plans for children and students with speech, language, and communication disorders. Support therapy sessions focused on speech therapy techniques, early intervention strategies, and developmental milestones. Work directly with children in various settings such as schools, clinics, or acute care environments to facilitate communication improvement. Monitor and document client progress, maintaining accurate records aligned with IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals and medical documentation standards. Prepare therapy materials and assist in adapting activities to meet each child's unique needs based on physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology understanding. Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive support for each child's communication development. Participate in team meetings and contribute insights related to pediatrics, working with students across different age groups and developmental stages. Qualifications Valid CA SLPA License Prior experience working with children or students in educational or clinical settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology. Familiarity with pediatric development, early intervention programs, and IEP processes. Strong understanding of speech therapy techniques and the ability to support therapy goals effectively. Experience working in acute care or school environments is advantageous. Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, families, educators, and healthcare teams.
