Key Qualifications and Experience:
Valid California SLPA license required Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred Understanding of best practices for speech and language interventions for diverse student populations Comfortable working collaboratively with special education staff, teachers, families, and supervisors—both in-person and virtually Strong organizational skills, adaptability, and a compassionate approach toward children with communication needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students under the direction and supervision of a licensed SLP Assist in conducting screenings and assessments as directed Support IEP implementation by following recommended therapy plans Document student progress accurately and communicate effectively with the supervisory SLP Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive school environment
