Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Take the next step in your Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) career by working directly with elementary-aged students in a supportive school environment. This contract assignment starts in October and offers a consistent, part-time schedule at one elementary school—perfect for those seeking balance and meaningful impact.
Position Overview:
Contract assignment at an elementary school 21 hours per week, scheduled Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8:30 am-4:00 pm Work closely with students and the school's SLP team to deliver high-quality speech and language services
Qualifications:
Valid SLPA license or credential Prior experience working in a school setting is essential Strong ability to quickly adapt and confidently manage a caseload in an educational environment High level of professionalism and reliability—ready to step in and begin supporting students in October Only candidates with direct schools experience will be considered
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver targeted speech and language interventions under the supervision of the on-site SLP Collaborate with teachers and support staff to address student communication goals Accurately document sessions, maintain records, and contribute to IEP processes as needed Communicate progress and needs to SLP supervisor, staff, and families This opportunity provides a predictable schedule—21 hours per week—without the possibility of increasing to 30 hours per week. No SLP-CCC or CF supervision required; the need is strictly for an experienced SLPA.
