Job Description
Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting students in a local school environment near Elk Grove, CA. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active SLPA license in California Previous experience in a school setting preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive environment for students Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and follow treatment plans directed by supervising
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students under supervision Implement individualized education programs (IEPs) as guided by the certified SLP Assist with screenings and assessments, as directed Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and session notes Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication goals Participate in school meetings and professional development, as necessary
