9698883-91762 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract role supporting middle school students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). This full-time opportunity, located near Ontario, CA, begins as soon as possible and runs at least through December, with the possibility of extension. Youll be providing substitute coverage, helping to make a positive impact on a diverse caseload of approximately 45 students in a supportive educational environment.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid SLPA license or certification required Previous experience working in a school setting is highly preferred Familiarity with serving middle school-aged children Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families Compassionate, adaptable, and committed to student success

Responsibilities:

Provide direct therapy and support services to middle school students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Assist with the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals Collect and record data on student progress Collaborate with classroom teachers and other educational staff to support student development Prepare materials for therapy sessions and maintain accurate documentation Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive school environment This contract position is ideal for an SLPA who enjoys working in dynamic school settings and is eager to make a lasting difference in students lives.
