Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

Valid California SLPA license or eligibility to obtain before start date Experience supporting speech therapy in a school-based environment is highly recommended Knowledge of evidence-based interventions for children and adolescents with communication disorders Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect positively with students, families, and staff Detail-oriented with excellent time-management and documentation abilities Flexibility to adapt to changing caseload needs and work collaboratively with supervising

SLPs Key Responsibilities:

Support implementation of speech and language therapy plans under SLP supervision Work one-on-one and in small groups with students to target specified communication goals Track student progress and collect data as required for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Prepare materials and participate in therapy session planning Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and specialists to support student outcomes Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all state, local, and school district guidelines
