Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Experience within school-based settings preferred Strong understanding of assessment and intervention techniques relevant to K-8 students Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language services for students, including conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans Deliver direct and indirect therapy services in both elementary (0.8 FTE) and middle school (0.2 FTE) environments Monitor and record student progress; maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines Consult with teachers and support staff to design classroom-based strategies aligned with student IEPs Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to educational team planning, and support positive student outcomes This assignment is perfect for those who thrive in a school community and are passionate about helping children find their voice.
