9684882-95476 Job Description Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as either a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in an engaging contract role. This leave coverage position spans from November 2, 2026, to February 26, 2027, offering a diverse caseload across elementary and middle school settings in the scenic Sonoma area. You'll inspire growth and communication confidence in young learners, working 0.8 FTE with elementary students and 0.2 FTE with middle schoolers.

Key Qualifications:

Active credential as SLPA, SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLP-School. Experience in school-based settings is highly desired. Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills. Ability to develop rapport with students across elementary and middle school ages. Commitment to evidence-based therapy and individualized student support.

Core Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech-language therapy to students, targeting expressive/receptive language, articulation, and fluency needs. Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support student progress and implement effective intervention plans. Conduct screenings, assist in assessments, and contribute to IEP/504 meetings as needed. Maintain detailed progress notes, data, and compliance documentation. Support students in both group and individual service formats to maximize their communication potential. Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and uplifting school environment.
