Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity as a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting students in a welcoming school environment. This contract role allows you to make a meaningful impact, working closely with a dynamic team of educators and speech-language pathologists to help students reach their communication goals.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active SLPA license or certification, in compliance with state regulations Practical experience working in school-based settings preferred Familiarity with common therapy strategies and technology used in educational environments Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping children succeed Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLPs, teachers, and families
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP Assist in the development and execution of treatment plans tailored to individual student needs Collect data and maintain accurate records of student progress and session notes Support the SLP in conducting screenings, assessments, and evaluations as needed Communicate effectively with staff, students, and families regarding progress and participation Participate in team meetings and professional development activities as required Perks of the
