Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract position where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) can make a lasting impact in a school setting. This full-time opportunity runs from now through June 2027 and is perfect for dedicated SLPAs who are ready to support K-12 students' communication growth and success throughout the school year. Your contributions will be vital as you collaborate with a dynamic team serving a diverse caseload, potentially working across multiple school sites. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid SLPA licensure and meet requirements for working in a school setting Experience supporting children or adolescents with speech and language needs preferred Comfort working onsite and possibly traveling between school locations Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to adapt to varying schedules and caseloads Professional, reliable, and enthusiastic about empowering students
Responsibilities:
Support students from kindergarten through 12th grade with speech-language therapy plans developed by supervising SLPs Implement therapy activities in both group and individual sessions Track progress and maintain documentation as required Collaborate with educators, SLPs, and other staff to maximize student outcomes Provide creative, effective support that encourages student engagement and participation
