What Were Looking For:

Active Connecticut SLPA license (required for all applicants) Previous school-based experience, with a history of working with children Ability to complete all district-required fingerprinting and background checks before start Upfront credentialing and licenses appreciated Willingness to participate in a Zoom interview as part of the selection process Strong communication and collaboration skills Commitment to the contract period through June 11, 2027

Key Responsibilities:

Implement individualized and group speech-language therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed SLP Support students in achieving their communication goals as outlined in IEPs Collect and maintain accurate data on student progress Collaborate with school staff, SLP supervisors, and families to foster student success Prepare materials and activities to enhance therapy sessions Assist with timely documentation and reporting as required by school protocols Enjoy the opportunity to build meaningful relationships within a supportive school community, along with gaining invaluable professional experience in an elementary setting.
