Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students in a school-based environment as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant. In this contract position, you'll deliver speech and language services under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists, collaborating with educational teams to ensure every student receives the individualized care and support they need.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Speech Communications, or a related field, or an AAS degree from an SLPA program Active SLPA certification Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to handle high-stress and crisis situations in collaboration with staff, students, and families Willingness to work onsite and travel between schools if needed; services are in-person only
Core Responsibilities:
Provide direct and indirect speech and language services according to students' IEPs Work closely with licensed SLPs, benefitting from direct supervision and mentoring Adapt to working at multiple school sites throughout the day as required Document services and progress in accordance with school and legal guidelines Communicate regularly with educators and families to support student progress
