Job Description

Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)Job Summary Superb Speech Therapy is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. This is a school-based position serving a pediatric caseload under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. The SLPA will provide speech and language therapy services to students while collaborating with educators, families, and school staff to support communication success. This position offers a consistent work environment with no travel between schools during the workday , making it ideal for clinicians seeking stability and work-life balance. Responsibilities Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist. Provide engaging, evidence-based speech and language therapy to pediatric students in a school setting. Document therapy sessions accurately and maintain timely treatment notes. Collect data and monitor student progress toward therapy goals. Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student success. Prepare therapy materials and maintain an organized therapy space. Maintain compliance with school policies, state regulations, HIPAA/FERPA requirements, and ethical standards. Qualifications Current Florida Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license in good standing. Associate's or Bachelor's degree meeting Florida SLPA licensure requirements. Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred, but not required. Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
