Qualifications and Experience:

FL DOH SLPA

Licensure required Minimum 2 years of experience as an SLPA, with at least 6 months in a school-based setting Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and confidence collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and school staff Able to manage confidential information and comply with all district and legal requirements

Responsibilities:

Provide direct therapy to students as directed by supervising SLPs Assist with implementing individualized education plans and documenting student progress Support students' communication needs across various ages and abilities Maintain accurate records and effective communication with teachers, parents, and the school team Participate in team meetings and contribute insights for student support

Additional Requirements:
