Job Description

Speech Savvy Therapy Services Lake Wales, FL Contract (1099) | Pediatric Outpatient Clinic About Us Speech Savvy Therapy Services is a growing pediatric outpatient clinic dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate therapy services to children and their families. Our clinic offers a supportive, collaborative, and positive work environment where therapists are valued and encouraged to thrive. We are currently seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team as an independent 1099 contractor. Position Overview The SLPA will provide direct speech therapy services to pediatric clients under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. This position offers the opportunity to work with an amazing population of children in a fun, family-centered setting. Responsibilities Provide speech and language therapy services as outlined in the treatment plan. Implement therapeutic activities and exercises developed by the supervising SLP. Document treatment sessions accurately and in a timely manner. Communicate effectively with families and caregivers regarding carryover activities and progress. Maintain compliance with all clinic policies, HIPAA regulations, and state practice guidelines. Collaborate with the supervising SLP and interdisciplinary team as needed. Qualifications Current Florida SLPA license in good standing. Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an approved SLPA program. Experience working with pediatric populations preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while maintaining collaboration with the supervising SLP.
