As an SLPA, you'll deliver both direct and indirect speech-language services to school-age learners while collaborating with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists. You'll play a vital part in helping students reach their communication goals—all within a supportive, team-driven setting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communications, or related field, or associate's degree from an accredited SLPA program Active SLPA license or certification Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills—especially in challenging circumstances Ability to navigate multiple school locations during the school day, as needed Commitment to onsite work (virtual options are not available)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Work under the direct supervision of licensed SLPs, following established protocols and best practices Document student progress and communicate effectively with staff, students, and their families Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary educational team to enhance student outcomes Deliver services at multiple school sites if required, ensuring consistency and quality of care
