The SLPA will support licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in providing quality therapy services to Medicare patients , helping improve their communication and swallowing abilities in compliance with federal and state regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the implementation of treatment plans developed by the Speech-Language Pathologist Deliver speech therapy interventions under the supervision of the SLP Monitor and document patient progress accurately and timely Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members Maintain compliance with Medicare requirements and company policies
Qualifications:
Valid license/certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in the state of Florida. Previous experience working with Medicare patients is preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and time-management abilities Experience with Kinnser or similar EMR is a plus
