As a leader in pediatric therapy, we provide a purpose-driven environment where your skills and compassion truly make a difference. Responsibilities Provide high quality speech services based on individual therapy plans. Assures continuation of therapeutic plan up to and following discharge by designing home exercise programs; instructing patients, recommending and/or providing assistive equipment/ follow up programs. Promptly and thoroughly documents and maintains clinical and administrative records regarding patient limitations/interventions, treatments, responses and progress to administered therapy as well as discharge summaries. Maintains patient records confidentially. Records treatment charges daily and completes documentation in accurate and timely manner. Complies with the applicable State Speech Therapy Practice Act, codes and regulations. Attend team meetings and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic services. Participate in parent, community, and professional training efforts.
Qualifications Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of speech language pathology assistant with an Bachelor's Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
Licensure:
Current State License to practice
Speech-Language Pathology Experience:
One year experience as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant preferred.
Skills:
Therapy skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice. Good interpersonal skills.
