Qualifications and Experience:
Active SLPA licensure, meeting state requirements Previous experience supporting speech and language goals in a K-12 educational setting preferred Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable working in a team setting Ability to implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals under supervision of a licensed SLP Organizational skills for managing caseload and documentation Reliability for consistent onsite presence during agreed-upon hours
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language services to students as outlined in IEPs, under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Assist in preparing therapy materials and activities, tracking student progress, and maintaining accurate records Support the SLP with data collection and progress reporting Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and families to ensure continuity of care Participate actively in meetings and training as needed Foster a positive, inclusive environment for all students This position allows you to make a significant impact supporting students' communication development in a school community while maintaining an excellent work-life balance throughout the academic year.
