Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Discover a rewarding opportunity to support the communication growth of students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) working on a contract basis. In this position, you'll have the chance to make a direct impact in the lives of approximately 20 students, providing individualized and small group therapy sessions in a dynamic school setting. With a three-day-per-week schedule, you'll enjoy a balanced workweek that allows you to focus on quality care for students while maintaining flexibility in your professional life.
Desired Qualifications & Skills:
Active SLPA license in Illinois Previous experience in a school setting preferred Solid understanding of speech and language therapy techniques for school-aged children Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with supervising speech-language pathologists, teachers, and families Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities Compassion, patience, and adaptability when working with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
