Speech Language Pathologist/ Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

Job Description

Make a meaningful impact supporting students' communication skills for the upcoming academic year in a dynamic K-12 environment. ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist and a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant for a school-based, contracted position near Fillmore, IN for the 26/27 school semester. This full-time position offers the opportunity to collaborate with dedicated educators, while serving a diverse caseload of 75-85 students across two school sites. The assignment begins July 31, 2026 and continues through May 31, 2027, giving you the chance to form lasting connections with students and colleagues.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Indiana DOE Speech-Language Pathologist licensure required Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred (may supervise SLPAs) Experience or interest in school-based SLP practice with K-12 students Comfort working with a varied caseload and engaging with students of all abilities Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech-language services as expected in a school setting Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders for K-12 students Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to enhance student outcomes Maintain accurate records, manage documentation, and contribute to IEP development May provide supervision and mentorship to SLPAs as needed Travel between two nearby school sites as part of weekly schedule Enjoy a steady work allowing you to maintain a work/life balance, while also advancing your career in a supportive environment.
