Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a supportive educational environment and make a difference as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a contract role. This opportunity is located near Lowell, MA, with an ASAP start and continues throughout the full school year. You will be dedicated to providing high-quality speech-language services while helping to manage and alleviate the caseload for the primary SLP—ensuring students receive the attention and support they deserve.
Key Qualifications:
SLPA or SLP license valid in Massachusetts Previous experience within a school setting strongly preferred Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong collaboration and communication abilities Compassion, patience, and a commitment to helping students thrive
Primary Responsibilities:
Support the primary SLP by implementing treatment plans and carrying out direct speech-language therapy with students Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to monitor student progress and document outcomes Assist in preparing materials and maintaining accurate records Attend meetings and contribute to developing individualized education plans (IEPs) Promote a positive, encouraging atmosphere for growth and learning
