Skills & Experience Desired:
Current certification as an SLPA Prior experience working in school settings preferred Understanding of speech and language development in children and adolescents Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate effectively with SLPs, teachers, and support staff Familiarity with IEP implementation and progress tracking Organizational skills to manage caseloads, documentation, and schedules Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in dynamic classrooms
Primary Responsibilities:
Carry out treatment plans as directed by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Support students individually or in small groups to improve speech, language, and communication abilities Collect data, document student progress, and provide feedback to supervising SLPs Assist with preparing therapy materials and activities Maintain positive relationships with students, caregivers, and staff Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) Uphold confidentiality and educational best practices in all interactions This contract position guarantees full-time hours for the complete school year, making it an excellent opportunity to further your experience in educational settings and have a lasting impact on students' success.
