Qualifications:
Associate's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program Current SLPA licensure or eligibility in North Carolina Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred Strong communication, organization, and teamwork abilities
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language services to a caseload of 40-50 K-5th grade students Implement therapy strategies under the supervision of an SLP Maintain thorough documentation on student progress Collaborate with educators, staff, and families Support individualized student goals as part of the special education team Adhere to school district policies and ethical standards
