Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding educational environment supporting students as a dedicated paraprofessional. This contract opportunity provides the chance to work closely with students in a dynamic school environment, assisting a virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) during a maternity leave coverage. By providing crucial support to the SLP, you will help ensure students continue to receive high-quality instruction and care.

Key Qualifications:

Associate's degree or at least 60 credit hours from an accredited institution, as required Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar school-based support role preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with educators and virtual specialists Adaptability and a positive, team-oriented attitude Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times Comfortable working with technology to assist virtual service providers

Primary Responsibilities:

Support the virtual SLP in delivering tailored educational and therapeutic programs to students Implement activities and strategies as directed by the SLP, both virtually and in-person Provide hands-on assistance to students in classroom or small group settings Document student progress and maintain accurate records under the guidance of the SLP Foster a safe, inclusive environment where all students feel valued and supported Collaborate with school staff and maintain regular communication with supervising professionals In this role, you'll enjoy a full-time schedule, working alongside passionate educators in a welcoming atmosphere.
