Job Description
Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic educational environment as a valued Speech Language Pathologist Assistant on a full-time contract for the 2026-2027 school year. This opportunity places you at the heart of supporting students' communication growth and academic achievement. Work collaboratively with experienced SLPs and educational professionals to deliver impactful services to a diverse population. Caseload specifics and program details will be shared during the interview process, ensuring a personalized fit for your skills and professional goals.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Active North Carolina SLPA license is required Previous experience in school settings preferred, but not mandatory Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and team members Ability to adapt techniques and strategies to meet varying student needs Passion for facilitating student success in a collaborative setting Organizational skills to manage responsibilities and maintain accurate records
Key Responsibilities:
Support implementation of student treatment plans designed by certified SLPs Provide direct therapy to students, individually and in small groups, targeting articulation, language, fluency, and social communication needs Collect data and assist with progress monitoring and documentation Collaborate with educators, families, and SLPs to support students' educational plans Participate in team meetings and training sessions Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all interactions and documentation
