Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant within a supportive school environment. This full-time position spans the entire school year, allowing you to make a consistent impact in students' communication development. You'll collaborate closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists, educators, and families to help students achieve their fullest potential.
Qualifications & Skills:
Valid SLPA license or certification Prior experience working with children or within a school setting preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to follow treatment plans and directions from supervising SLPs Organizational skills and attention to detail Enthusiasm for supporting students' educational journeys
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students under supervision of an SLP Assist in preparing therapy materials and implementing lesson plans Record and document student progress in accordance with school and professional guidelines Participate in meetings and collaborate with educational staff regarding student progress and program modifications Support generalization of communication skills in classrooms and small groups Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all school policies and ethical standards This role offers the chance to be a valued contributor to a dedicated team, develop your professional skills, and witness tangible growth in the students you support over the academic year.
