What You'll Bring:
SLPA certification and relevant credentials for school or healthcare settings Previous experience working with children, especially in educational environments Demonstrated ability supporting nonverbal and neurodiverse students Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills Adaptability and resourcefulness in managing diverse classroom needs Compassion and patience to foster growth in every child
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language interventions under the guidance of a certified SLP Support students ages 7-10 within two dedicated classrooms Collaborate closely with teachers and therapists to tailor strategies for individual needs Document progress and participate in team meetings to create the best path forward Engage and motivate students using creative tools and approaches Provide resources and encouragement to support both expressive and receptive language development This contract role features a flexible 20-hour work week, allowing you to maintain work-life balance while contributing your talents to a valued school community.
