Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Seeking a dedicated professional to step into a rewarding, part-time contract role supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). In this essential position, you'll work with young learners (K-5), providing services that help shape communication skills and foster confidence in a primary school setting. Key qualifications:

Active South Carolina SLPA or SLP license required Valid South Carolina SLP educator certification Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff and parents Commitment to providing compassionate, student-centered care Primary responsibilities: Provide direct speech-language services to students in accordance with IEPs Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and allied professionals in supporting student goals Monitor student progress, document sessions, and complete necessary reports Assist with implementation of therapy plans developed by supervising SLP Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for student success Support communication needs throughout the school day in various settings This contract role offers a flexible part-time schedule of 20-25 hours per week, allowing you to maintain work-life balance while making a significant difference in a supportive educational environment.
