Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Begin making a difference in the lives of young learners as a part-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting an elementary caseload in a welcoming primary school environment. This contract opportunity is perfect for those who enjoy flexible hours while collaborating with educators and supporting students' communication growth.
Key Qualifications:
Active South Carolina SLP or SLPA license Current SLP educator certification for South Carolina schools Experience working with K-5 students in school settings preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage a caseload with organization and compassion
Core Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language services to elementary students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Implement Individualized Education Plan (IEP) therapy sessions and document student progress Support generalization of communication strategies across classroom activities Collaborate with classroom teachers, staff, and families to ensure the best learning environment Contribute to evaluation and goal-setting processes as part of a multidisciplinary team Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in accordance with school district policies Why Consider This Role?
